Union Minister of Agriculture Visited CSWCRTI, Dehradun

Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture visited Central Soil and Water Conservation Research and Training Institute (CSWCRTI), Dehradun on 29-30th May, 2014.
The Minister had a meeting with senior scientists and officials of the institute and other central and state government organizations related with agriculture and allied sectors. Shri Singh interacted with officials to take stock of the agriculture scenario of the region.

Dr. P.K. Mishra, Director, CSWCRTI apprised the Minister about the ongoing activities of the institute and future programmes/initiatives. He also briefed Minister the constraints and problems of the agricultural research and extension programmes of this region.

The Minister took keen interest and appreciated research programmes of CSWCRTI and other related institutes. He called upon agricultural scientists to work for the development of agriculture and farmers of the region.
