Orientation Programme on Agriprenuership Development organized

The Agrinnovate India Limited, a Government of India Enterprise organized a one-day Orientation programme on “Agriprenuership - making business easy” at the National Agricultural Science Centre Complex, New Delhi today.
Dr. Sudha Mysore, CEO, Agrinnovate India Limited outlined the technologies that are available for licensing from around 100 odd Institutes under the purview of ICAR and various other linkages. She stated that the start-ups could benefit from their association with the AgIn.
Dr. Sanjeev Saxena, ADG (IP&TM) stated about the institutionalized technology transfer and incubation models that are available and successfully in operation under the different ICAR research Institutions.
The various issues related to technology acquisition, IP management, fund raising and requirement of facilitation process by organizations like Agrinnovate and ICAR were discussed.
The main aim of the programme was to attract the enthusiastic entrepreneurs and start-ups’ attention for providing with the panorama of technology-based opportunities existing in the agricultural sector, panning crops, horticulture, dairy, fisheries, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering and biotechnology.
A total of 70 participants from Mumbai, Trichy, Cochin, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh representing the private companies, public sector organizations, individual entrepreneurs, advanced stage startups participated in the event.
