Interface Meeting Organized at ICAR-RC for NEH Region, Mizoram

During an interface meeting with line departments, Dr. Ayyappan discussed the issues related to improvement of agricultural productivity and sustainable production in Mizoram.

In an interaction meeting with scientists, Dr. Ayyappan discussed their plan of work for the next five years and appreciated the research works of the Centre. He also released two books namely, ‘New Perspective on Marketing of Horticultural Crops in North East India’ and ‘Insect Pests Management Guidelines: Cole Crops in Mizoram’ on the occasion.

Earlier, Dr. S.B. Singh, Joint Director, Mizoram Centre, Kolasib welcomed all dignitaries. He presented the overall achievements of the Centre. The Director of Agriculture (Crop Husbandry), Director of Agriculture (R&E), Director of Horticulture, Director of Fisheries, AMFU Secretary, NGOs, Private Companies, Programme Coordinator of KVKs and other state officials were also present during the visit.
