A meeting between Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI) was held at Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) today. The objective of the meeting was to discuss work plan for 2018-20 and mode of implementation in various fields of agricultural research.
Potential areas of scientific collaboration between ICAR and CABI was briefed by CABI representatives.
Shri Chhabilendra Roul, Special Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR); Dr Ulrich Kuhlmann, ED-Global Operations, CABI; Dr. Richard Shaw, Country Director, CABI-UK; Shri Gopi Ramasamy, Country Director, CABI- South Asia; Dr AK Singh, DDG (Hort. Sciences & Crop Sciences); Dr S. Mauria, ADG (IR), ICAR; Shri Rajan Agrwal Director (DARE) and other senior officials of ICAR participated in the meeting.
