Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) chaired an Annual Review Meeting with representatives of CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research) Centres located in New Delhi here today.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing collaboration activities and future programmes for enhancing the multilateral cooperation in mutually identified areas. The meeting also aimed to leverage the strengths of all side addressing the common Agricultural Challenges being faced by farmers in different parts of the world with special focus on introduction of method techniques in agriculture research and value chain for enhancing the income of Indian farmers.
The deliberations during the meeting will further strength ties with CGIAR centres to effectively meet the needs of farmers stakeholders.
