Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited here today.
The MoU was signed by Dr Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) and Dr David Moore, General Manager, HIAL on behalf of respective organizations.

On the occasion, Sh Chhabilendra Roul, Additional Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR) and Dr R K Mittal, OSD (IR), ICAR were also present.
The MoU envisages cooperation in the field of research, education and outreach in areas of mutual interests through exchange of germplasm, information, academic materials and publications in the field of horticulture research. This Memorandum of Understanding will allow both agencies to interact and work on a number of agreed collaborative research areas for the mutual benefit of horticultural growers of both countries.
