International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS), Belgium was formerly constituted in 1959. It has more than 7000 members representing about under 50 countries. It is world’s leading independent organization of Hort. Scientists. Its aim is to promote and encourage research activity and education in all branches in Hort. Science and to facilitate cooperation and knowledge transfer at global scale through its symposia, seminar, congresses and publication etc.

India’s annual contribution to ISHS is Euro 240, which is released through DARE.
