Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India laid down foundation stone of College of Veterinary Sciences & A.H. in Jalukie, Peren District, Nagaland under the Central Agricultural University, Imphal today.
Union Agriculture Minister Laid Foundation for College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry in Nagaland
While addressing the gathering Shri Singh highlighted the importance for the establishment of the College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry keeping in view the requirement for human resource development in the region and for transfer of the modern technologies.
He expressed his gratitude to the Government of Nagaland for providing land free of cost in additional to providing required infrastructure near the vicinity of the College to facilitate for early establishment. Upcoming College will give its immense contribution in development of North Eastern Region.
