B.Sc. Hons. (Agriculture) First Academic Session (2014-15) of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University started on 28 July 2014 at Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi Campus. On this occasion, Dr. Arvind Kumar, Vice Chancellor, RLB CAU highlighted the National Importance of this university of. He mentioned that the University will meet the challenges in the field of agriculture.

Candidates from different states of India competed through Joint Entrance Examination organized by ICAR were admitted in Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University.
Dr. P. N. Dwivedi, Principal Scientist, IGFRI & Coordinator informed that the students of first semester of B.Sc. Hons. (Ag) shall be provided initiation by the scientists of IGFRI and NRCAF, Jhansi.
